A diving fitness examination is a prerequisite for every prospective diver. Diving is an easy and fascinating sport that can be practised well into old age. Most training organisations and diving centres place a high value on the safety of their divers. This includes a current medical certificate of fitness for diving in accordance with the guidelines of the German Society for Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine (GTÜM e.V.), which serves to minimise the individual risk of the diver.
The basis for diving fitness is a comprehensive questionnaire followed by targeted examinations. Individual questions are then discussed in detail and the diver receives a multilingual and internationally recognised certificate.
In addition to his qualifications as a diving doctor, Dr Felix Anselmino is an active diver and a certified Rescue Diver (PADI).
